Bar work

Chris fabbed up the cross members of his bars out of an old Steering wheel lock that Deuce had.
Chris tig welded them into place and it's an unique look on some narrow bars

Peg Extensions

Chris grinding on his dished tank, it is coming along nicely.
Phil picked up some brass pegs on ChopCult but needed to extend them out past the controls.  Got a 6 inch piece of brass and started working it into two 3 inch extensions.

After turning and cutting it in half, he bored a hole through to thread.

Threaded up and ready to go together.

Here is the finished product.

Virago Dished Tank

Chris wanted a tank that was narrow to fit his overall theme.  Instead of buying a sporty tank and replacing the tunnel Deuce talked him into dishing the existing tank to get the profile he wanted.
Chris is a surgeon with that cut off wheel!

Measured the other side off the center line.

It is a monster dish but a very unique look.

Float Wars and Bars

Deuce is competing in what he refers to as "Float War" which consists of manually adjusting floats on old Honda carbs.
At least the bowls pop right off without having to take screws out

This is the shit we have to put up with at the shop, you would think he was fixing a sink not a carb!

Chris made a decision on his bars for his Virago chop.  Took a set of Honda pull-offs and cut the bottom off.  Took some leftover tubing and cut some sleeves to act as risers.

Deuce drilled out the sleeves so the bars would slide in and leveled the ends.  The lathe makes fast work of it.

Chris has it all mocked up and will get it welded up in the next couple days.
