Skyline Lagniappe style

The weather is getting colder so Deuce planned a late season ride to Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah Mountains near Front Royal, VA.  Here soon it will be much colder on top and there will be snow so this might be the last chance we have to ride Skyline.
Chris and Phil prepping the bikes for the ride.
Deuce doing what he does....
Break down number 1, lost spark, messed with the bike and it started working again so off we went.
Met up with Laz and Jenny and we headed towards Skyline.
No spark yet again.
And we are off again.

Jenny snapping some pics from the back of Laz's bike.

Phil coasting down the hill yet again trying to get to a safe pull off.
The tool roll makes yet another appearance....

So at this point the Lagniappe ride is going to be renamed to the Lagniappe "Let's go work on our bikes in new and exciting locations with minimal tools".  Found the issue, busted connector on one of the relays.  Deuce threw a little Lagniappe zip tie action at it and it ran great the rest of the day.
We may have encountered a couple bugs during the ride.
Nothing like a belly full of Mexican food and beer for the ride home.
Must have been those beers....

Headed home after the pit stop.

Deuce on the FXR with the new shocks mounted, He swapped out the lowrider shocks and now had to really work to drag the pegs.

Oh and what is this?  Yet another break down and we were almost home.  The oil filter holder had a bolt that backed out and it was hanging from the oil lines.

Deuce assisting Chris with the repair...or maybe something else.  Either way Chris had a smile on his face!

Deuce attempting some prison shit by making a strap out of a rag.

After all Deuce's hard work, he ended up going with the tool roll bungee and that got us home.
At the end of the day, we had great weather and great people.  Yeah we had a couple setbacks but we rode where we intended and everyone stayed upright.  Our first long ride in the spring was to Skyline when it was about 38 degrees on top so we started and possibly ended our season on Skyline.
